Every mount here carries the same 1.5" pipe thread the Standard (Gen 3 / V3 / Standard 4) and Mini dishes use, so you buy the mount, not an adapter.
How to pick between the four mount types
Every mount here solves the same problem — getting the dish to a patch of open sky — but they borrow that height from different places. A roof mount takes it from the highest surface on the building. A wall bracket takes it from the side of the building, which is usually easier to reach and does not touch the roof covering at all. A pole mount makes its own height from the ground. A tripod does the same but with nothing fixed to anything.
That difference, not the bracket itself, is what should decide it. If you own the roof and want the shortest cable run, the roof mount wins. If the roof is old, flat, or under warranty, a wall bracket gets you most of the height without a penetration. If you rent, or you want to take the dish with you, a tripod is the only one that leaves nothing behind when you move.
What they share is the interface. The Starlink Standard (Gen 3 / V3 / Standard 4) and the Mini both end in the same 1.5" pipe thread, and every mount in this collection is built around it. The dish screws on directly — you do not buy a separate official pipe adapter to make the two meet.
The honest case against this whole category: if the dish already has clear sky sitting on its own kickstand, you do not need a mount at all. Buy one when you need height, reach, or a fixing that will not move in wind.

Will these mounts work with Starlink?
Yes. The mast interface is the 1.5" pipe thread Starlink dishes ship with, so each mount physically fits Standard (Gen 3) and Mini hardware.
Do I need to buy a pipe adapter as well?
No. The thread is built into the roof and wall mounts, and the tripod ships with its adapter in the box.
Can I install one on a metal roof?
The wall and eave bracket avoids the roof entirely; for a roof mount we recommend a compatible roof flange for metal and tile surfaces.
